On Friday, November 9th, a group of Staten Islanders can together to help unload 44 pallets of dog and cat food donated from PetCo.

Meeting at 3477 Richmond Rd, a storefront donated to the group by Frank Riccardi, the 30 or so volunteers worked tirelessly to get the massive amounts of product into the building.

The local chapter of Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue has received a generous donation of dog and cat food for needy Staten Island pets and their families.

They need volunteers to donate their time man the distribution center and deliver pet food to needy families.
